Welcome to Idaho Letterbox
Aryn from Eagle (jedaryn02@yahoo.com)
Placed on 10 September 2002
Closest Town: Fruitland, ID
Payette County

Directions: From Oregon, take I84 east and stop in at
the Visitor's Center about 1/2-1 mile east of the
Snake River boardering Oregon and Idaho. From Idaho,
take I84 west and you will have to turn around in
Oregon to access the Visitor's Center traveling east
bound on the interstate.

Clues: Learn about the Snake River's historical
passage and its relation to the Oregon Trail. Take
the path to left of the Blue Star Memorial honoring
our Armed Forces. 14 paces behind the stars and
stripes at the base of a tree in a triangle is what
you seek.

Please ensure you cover this little letterbox well as
there's not much there to hide it. Enjoy our state.
=-) Also at this sight you can learn about the Salmon
Festival, more on the Oregon trail and pick up state
maps and local brochures.
